# PromptRework

> PromptRework is a native macOS app that rewrites your rough text into a detailed AI prompt with one shortcut (⌃⌥Space). Select text anywhere, press the hotkey, and a structured prompt replaces it in place — no copy-paste, no tab-switching.

PromptRework detects the kind of task you're doing (coding, writing, research, design) and builds the right kind of prompt for it. Works system-wide: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Lovable, VS Code, Notion, and any app with a text field.

- Platform: macOS 14 (Sonoma) and newer. Universal binary for Apple Silicon and Intel.
- Privacy: selected text is sent over HTTPS, rewritten by Anthropic's Claude, and discarded. Nothing is stored unless you enable History, which is encrypted and only readable by you.
- Made in Oslo.

- Free: $0. Unlimited Haiku rewrites + 10 Sonnet/month, core rewrite modes, Refine Loop. Opus is Pro-only.
- Pro: $12/month, or $120/year ($10/month billed annually). Unlimited Haiku & Sonnet + Opus, advanced rewrite modes, app-aware context, encrypted prompt history, priority support.
